I know that I have a blown head gasket due to the ati freeze blowing out the tail pipe...But I have a squeking noise coming from the engine too.. at idle..Would that be caused by the head gasket too?? Or do you think that it could be the water pump? I have anti freeze residue around the top of the grill where the hood closes down..It may be slinging it up from the fan..I wanna know to see how far I need to go to repair it..Im on a budget..Ne sugestions???

I just had something like this come in today, the noise could be the that the chain guides have been worn through by the chain and the chain is now rubbing on the tensioner metal instead. But this was on a V-6, is your's a V-6?
