I replaced the head lights on my 94 after seeing that when you turn them on they only work when the lever is in high beem selection, but whats worse is that they are really on low beam..When I put the lever on low beam, they go completely out..Whats the deal? All other lights work fine

Several possibilities
Combination switch (what Toyoyta calls that off/on hi/lo stalk controlled thingy), fuses, or relay.

it was the bulbs......Changed'em and they are fine now
