Hi, I have a stock 93 22re 4x4 stick pickup. When I'm running 65mph down the high my tach is at 3200. Does this seem about right? It seems like I could use another gear to go any faster or the engine is running so fast? Didn't know if I could switch gears for a higher speed, and better mpg? Any help would be great. Thanks, Craig

What gears are in the truck? It should be revving a bit lower than that. Should be around 2800 or so at that speed from what I remember driving my 82. Do a search on google for toyota axle codes and you will find out how to read what gearing you have in the truck. Its usually 4.10 gears but Toyota has gone way over the map with different trucks and gears.
