My new mechanic adjusted the interlock (everything else is fine in his POV) & 2wks later she wont turn over again. Grrr...I hate not being able to just go!! I'd like to do it myself but can't find any blunt-to the point pics/details on how to. Also, I've had occasional probs shifting smoothly into reverse. Could this resistance be related? -Advice is much appreciated

Just bypass the neutral-safety (clutch) switch.
Trouble shifting into reverse is tranny related.

You can easily bypass the switch by wiring it too ground. But check your clutch pedal bracket first like chop talks about in his post on the t-100 board. They are prone to cracking and the bracket starts to flex instead of the pedal actually pushing out the clutch master input shaft or touching the contact switch.

Thanks for your help guys!
Chop I read your post and ended up taking the pedal out. This is the first time i've done anything on a vehicle short of checking the fluids- sweet. Long story short, a trip to Home Depot (extension for my socket) and borrowed muscle from next door (one of the nuts on the MC was a bitch) my assumption on the clutch was wrong. I went outside this morning and thought to tap the starter. And like magic vrmm vrmm...wish i'd thought to do this in the first place. Mmmmm... learning is hard. Oh well, at least it wont be bad on my wallet. Think i'll ride out the tranny for a while thou. thanks again!!
-Much luv and happy 2008
