I have heard that you can use the rear toy leaves in the front when doing a sas but it looks to me like they would have a bad shackle angle...I'v never driven one setup like this and I was wondering if they work pretty good...I just bought a front axle and rebuilt kit, aussie locker, crossover steering, spring hanger kit, and painted my truck so I'm broke right now and Im trying to find some springs that will work well without having to order a new set

I haven't done this yet, but have heard and seen them and they do seem to work real good . Not sure if they they use a fully stock rear spring pack or if they mix them with another spring pack. I know some of them where a mixed pack, but don't know if they all were or not.

They work great. I made my fronts from 3 pairs of rear springs off of 2WD toy p/u's, because I had them. You can't just use the rear pack, you need to add other leaves in.
Cut them down so the lengths are graduated like a regular pack.
I built a 2" drop 1" forward hanger, so the front axle is moved forward 3" total.
I know several others that have similar setups, all with good results.

Well I guess I will try it out and see how it works I have several spring packs laying around from other random stuff so I guess I will try some different combinations and see what I can get

Just remember, Toy rears up front will move the axle forward approx 2", so if you have stock steering you'll need to modify the drag link and torque rod, or better go to x-over steering.
Also they are longer than the stock fronts, so you'll at least need banana shackles to mount them in the stock location.

Yeah I ordered the crossover steering and the shackles already I'm hoping to have the axle 3 inches forward...I have some S-10 and mazda leaves so Im gonna start building a leaf pack friday when I get the shackles...I guess I will try a few combinations and see what I can get
