will a headight door off a 1984-1986 model 4runner work on a 1987 toyota 4runner?
they look the same from what pictures i have seen..

I believe that they are.
If no one knows for sure before Monday, then maybe Hoodlum might be able to look it look to find out. He works for Toyota.

The headlights on my 84 Runner don't have doors, WTF are you talking about  But FWIW, almost any thing from an 84-89 Runner/84-88 p/u, 2WD or 4WD is interchangeable. That means sheet metal, glass, engines, trim, etc. |

The headlight door (AKA a headlight bezel) is the part of the grille that goes around the the headlight.
