When I lock my hubs in, the passenger side makes grinding noises when I hit a bump in the road. I took the hub off and cleaned and greased it now its not as loud but there is still a noise if i hit a bump.

When you lock the hub, things start rotating that weren't before. Could be CV joint, wheel bearings ...

I would suspect a cv joint. Make noise when you try a tight corner?

Yes the CV does make noises in tight cornering. I didn't even think of that. Will an axle out of a 89 auto fit my 86 manual?

I beleive it will. All passenger side IFS axles are the same 86-95. Its the driver side that can differ depending on whether it has ADD or not.
