So i bottomed out on my t-case cross-member on a curb and then after that my 4wd would not engage. the shifter is really sloppy and does not catch on anything but the truck drives just fine in drive, so if you could help me out here it would be appreciated.

It makes no sense. The t-case shifter goes directly in the top of the t-case. Banging the case from the bottom shouldnt effect your abilty to shift. You say the shifter is sloppy. But what happens when you try to pull it into 4lo.

It sounds like your having problems with your shifter or a broken shift fork or somthing if it will stay in gear and drive but you can't change them but like he said I don't see how bottoming it out could affect it

its really odd, the 4wd shifter is sloppy all the way from neutral to 4low when it bottomed out it was kinda at an angle and it hit pretty hard. it really didnt make any sense to me either. so basically i have no 4wd at all but drive and reverse all work fine
