Heres the story. Bought a 83 pickup, frame and tranny were bad. So I bought a 86 4 runner with a bad motor. Did the solid axle swap and swaped rears. What I need to know is there any difference in motor mounts and if the tranny will mount right up? 83 has 22r and 86 has22re. thanks for the help!

I didn't know they came any other way ;D
Yeah, the 22R will bolt in.
IIRC the clutch set and flywheel are a little larger with the EFI tranny, so use those.

One more thing, the EFI tranny is a little longer.
You may have to reposition the t-case x-member, and as a result maybe adjust F/R drive shaft length a little.
