I recently acquired an 86 p/u that was converted from EFI to carb. I ditched the aftermarket carb that had a manual choke, and put on a stock one with electric choke, but I'm not sure how to wire it. Even though the truck was EFI, is there still wiring somewhere for a choke? Or do I have to wire it myself? If so, does anyone know how to wire it? It has a plug coming off with four wires: one white w/black stripe, one red and two black. Thanks.

By using a multimeter on a friend's vehicle I've deducted that both black wires go to ground, the white with a black stripe needs a switched battery + supply. I Still don't know that the red wire is for. It comes from the black plastic thing on the back of the carb that is part of the choke assembly. Does it also need a + battery supply? Does it take a ready from a sensor somewhere?
