Looks like a great little truck. IF the owner did the work correctly. If he/she did then you'll have a nice truck for sure. Not sure why he installed 5.29's and didn't lock it in some form or another, but all in all still a nice start.... Enjoy.

Does sound like a nice truck. Just make sure to look it over real good. Check for any rust (surface rust no real big deal), dents, missing parts, etc. Make sure to test drive it and listen for any odd noises. As it's warming up (before driving) listen to the motor real close to make sure it's running smooth.
As for work being done correctly, while looking the truck over also check for good welds where he/she had modify it. For the gears ask where they had them done at or if they bought the 3rd member fully built, and if so where from.
It shouldn't really be that slow (60mph). Should be able to get it up to at least 70-80mph if the engine is running good. I got a stock 22R with headers and an up graded cam running 5.29 gears and 35's. I can get up to 90+mph on the freeway and 60- 70mph on some of the steep hill. Not sure why he installed 5.29's and didn't lock it in some form or another Why would it need to be locked up just cuz it has 5.29's? If he was just using it as a DD then there would really be no reason for it. Plus even if he/she did wheel it, it would be fully needed. I did rock crawling with my current DD for about 5 years before adding a dual case to it and working on about 9-10 years since then and both my axles are still open and run 36" swappers for wheeling.
Lockers are nice to have and can make wheeling easier, but aren't necessary.

I just meant that if someone took the time to regear it, would it not have saved money in the long run to lock it as well? You do make a good point that there is no need for lockers in a daily driver. Just my $0.02
