i have a 03 prerunner trd with the 2.7 4 cyl. here is my question i just put a lot of money ordering a 3 inch lift and 33 bfg and i get it installed on oct3 will my 4cyl have enough power to turn those tires allright or do i absloutly have to change the rearend thanks for any replies

As long as you don't mind taking off a little slower and not being able to climb hills as fast as before you should be fine. I'm not sure but I would think the trd package would come with 30 or 31 inch tires (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I have an 87 with the 22re and just put on 33's. It slowed it down some but then the clutch went out so I haven't had a chance to test it out that much. The rearend is still stock. It basically depends on what kind of performance you want and how you drive it that will determine what kind of setup you will need. Good luck and hope this installation goes well. Stephen edit: I just checked and they came with 225/75/15. This is roughly a 29 inch tire.

Yow will have no problem with 33s, my taco came stock with 31s you will know when you go up a hill thought.

I know this is a old thread tacos do not come with 30" or 31" tires they come with 28" and 29" from factory it doesn't matter weather you have 15" or 16" rims
