anyone have any ideas here? When i come to a stop at a stop sign my rear tire locks up in the sand. when im coming to a stop the truck shakes and it sounds like a heat shield is loose in the front. Its still under warranty and im extremely frustrated by this problem seeing as i bought the truck less than a month ago

If i read this correctly, when you come to a stop your tires lock up, and kinda shakes? I think i had this problem in my runner. i'm assuming you have drum breaks on the rear wheels....
when i went to replace the bearings on my rear wheels i got some oil on the brake shoes which caused them to fall apart and become soft. so when i would go to break, the shoe would jam itself against the drum causing the wheel to skid and jump, instead of slide.
If you bought the truck from a dealership they always check all the cars/trucks they sell for any problems, and they fix/tune them up before they sell them. I think one of the mechanics there may have done a sloppy job and accidently spilled oil on your breaks.
It looks to me like one of two things...your rear breaks are worn out and need to be replaced, or you need to adjust them. you can take the truck in and have it done, or easily do it yourself.
hope this helps.
