id like to buy a 4x4 taco. ive always prefered manual hubs, but cant find em. does toyota no longer offer them. i need the skinny on ADD? i keep hearing about cv boot failure with too much lift? WTH?? i wanna run 33s and moderate wheelin in the mud. i prefer a 4 cyl with 5 speed, just cause i like the underdog. please help with any info, this will be my 4th yota, but they make em too difficult now. thanks

Every new Taco I've seen has ADD. You might check you might can order one with manual hubs. I converted my 02 to manual hubs useing everything off a 95 model. CV boot failure depends how much lift your running and what type of lift. For example if you buy a 6" Fabtech suspension lift it keeps everything in stock specs so no problems. But if you use a 2-3" spacers kit without manual hubs you could have cv boot failure because the cv's will be turining all the time. Also if you go with like the 3" spacer you can get driveline vibration from the cv axles.
