Wow... were they stock? Either way that blows... No, an alarm would not have helped you - unless you wired it up to the lights  There is no way to prevent this - well, actually, I guess you could replace your stock phillips head screws with some kind of a hex or star head. But good luck finding them to fit. I feel your pain. Someone smashed my truck a couple of years ago with a baseball bat. No reason, just some kids smashing trucks/vans in the city. Dicks... |

The only thing I can think of to help prevent this is to get screws with special heads. Seen most common on eletronics. You'll just have to get the special driver for them also.

Would think any place that does electronics would have them. Maybe a hardware store would have them or maybe know where you might be able to get them. I'm looking into it also. If I find anything out I'll let you know.

That really sucks man. Sounds like someone is wanting to replace their tails with stock after gettin pulled over for illegals, but they don't have their stocks anymore.
..or somebody wantin to sell some online.
Guy had his jack and tire stolen off of his jeep here in the DC area recelenty and he pooled all of his friends together to look online to see if the equipment was for sale and sure enough..found the guy selling his stuff online and arrested the guy.

some pathetic fucker stole both of my tail lights off my truck!! 
any idea what i can do to prevent them from doing it again? would an alarm stop them? or is it that easy to take them off faster than anyone can notice... i was at the mall btw when this happend and it sucks...
