I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4wd regular cab with a bench seat. I have been trying to figure out a place to mount the cb but there is just not any room. Does anyone have any pics. or anything on where you have one mounted? Thanks in advance for your help.

there were some posts on this awile ago I have a 99 and I'm removig the passenger air bag but my first thought was to block the center console vents and use that space

I know on my tacoma with the bench seat i have that little arm rest, I just put my CB radio under that armrest. The only downside is you have to memorize what knobs do what and the speaker fires into the seat, but it's not that bad. I have a large external speaker under the seat so i don't have a problem. I was going to get the cobra radio that has everything built into the mic and just having it come out right by my accessory outlets on the dash.

Does anyone have any pics. or anything on where you have one mounted? Thanks in advance for your help. Get the small CB from Radio Shack and remove your ash tray. You'll have to cut a little plastic behind the ash try so the CB slides all the way back, and then use either double sided tape or velcro to hold it in place. This is how I have mine setup, but I currently don't have any pics of it. |
