I have an '04 Tacoma 4X4 Xtracab and love it. One minor issue that bothers me a little is the ugly stip of metal at the base of the body. It's where the upper and lower body are spotwelded together, and with high body clearance, it's easily seen from the side of the truck. Has anyone figured out a good way to cover/disguise/hide that ugly little portion of the body? I'm interested in something that would last through all the washings and snowstorms for the next 20 years or so and would not cause rust problems, etc.

Pound that puppy up out of the way and hit er with a good rust inhibiting paint twice a year.
