What spring, lever or bearing is making that annoying squeak when I push the clutch pedal in on my 2004 Tacoma? How do I make it go away? Is this worth a trip to the dealership?

It could be your throwout bearing?

I have the same squeek on my 99 tacoma. It's not the throwout bearing, you can deffinetly tell it's in the cab somewhere.....the thing that boggles my minds is that on mine it's not constant, somtimes it will squeek and other times it won't.
I'd also like to know what i have to greese to get ride of it.......

Every once in a while on my 82 my clutch pedal squeaks when i push on it. I just go to it with some WD40 and the squeak goes away. I dont know if this is the problem your having but it does the trick on my truck. Does it only squeak as you push the pedal down and let it up or does it keep on squeaking the whole time?

I have a 2002 TRD 4x4 tacoma with a really bad clutch squeak also. It seems like it will do it really bad with it 1st starts off then after sometime it will go away. Then it may come back again. Its so bad I just want to rip it out. I have put everything on it...WD40 witch works ok for sometime then goes away. Plumbers pipe dope worked great for 10,000 miles then it came back. Then I got some other lube stuff but it works just like the WD40. I guess i'll just take it in to get it fixed. Toyota needs to do somthing about this!

I have a '05 Tacoma TRD, SR5, Sport, the V6 6speed manual, and my clutch started the squeaking also at about 500 miles on the vehicle. It continued until just recently when I took it into the dealership. They ordered and are replacing a bushing, and the slave cylinder. I dropped it off friday morning an they said it would be done end of the day, then put me in a rental car an said sat it would be done. I am still in the stupid rental car (a dodge neon, not my Yota!) and it is "supposedly" going to be done on tues. But they said they had to re-order parts, or order more or something, but nobody at the dealership could tell me exactly what it was they had ordered, or what problem they ran into.... in other words i am kinda "upset" at the dealership. I mean they have my baby, my Yota, and nobody can tell me whats goin on? I hate lack of communication.
