I'm tired of spinning tires in the mud and other unfortunate things that I get myself into. I dont have the money for a selectable locker such as the ARB or Toyota E-Locker, nor do I want an auto locker similar to a detroit due to the scary and even dangerous things that they do in snow and ice. I'm thinking that the TRD LSD would be a good halfway point in the situation. Does anyone here have the LSD? How well does it work, any problems wearing them out, any other comments?

limited slip is a waste of money, start looking through junkyards for toyota electric lockers.they have used them in 4 runners tacomas and other models for the past ten years.if you buy axle assy make sure gear ratio are the same as your truck.

if you decide to go with the LSD I have one that was never installed I decided to bite the bullet and went with the arb locker and I'll let it go cheap

I nor do I want an auto locker similar to a detroit due to the scary and even dangerous things that they do in snow and ice. auto lockers are not scary on ice and snow. i have yet to have any problem with mine and i have many miles on ice and snow. as for a limited slip they are a waste of money start saving pennies for an ARB or e locker.
