hey guys what is the best sounding muffler for a taco with the 3.4 v6. i dont like the bummble bee in a jar sound . any one got an oppinion

I haven't run it myself, but i know a lot of people on boards just like to go with the flowmaster 40, and then a 2.5 or 2.25 inch tubing

I just had the flow 40 put on my taco.It has a small rumble to it .but nothing like a bumble bee.

From what I understand Gibson makes a nice exhaust for our trucks also.

Yeah i've heard of the gibson as well. The downside is the gibson catback is a substantial amount more in price then getting a muffler shop to bend some tubing and stick in a 40 series flowmaster.

yep that is right it is a lot more expensive to buy the gibson than to just get the flow master 40. im gonna do a turn down im just doing my home work cause i dont want my tacoma to sound like it should be in a fast and furious movie

I recomend the newer flowmaster super 40 series it def sounds alittle better than the reg 40 series I've had both and def want to go back to the super 40

anyone ever heard of v force mufflers? i heard one on a taco and it sounded really good with full pipes out the back. cant find a dealer in sc though
