I have a 01 2.7L SR5 4x4, not TRD, and I've added a cap over the bed. The cap is 180lbs and it dosen't take much payload to make the rear end sag. I'm looking for a more heavy duty set of springs to keep the rear end up. Since I use it for work truck, payload is more important to me than ride, any suggestions?

I myself would think about using the leaf-spring airbags.....they help when you need them, and don't cause you to get a stiffer ride......

I'VE HAD 2,000 - 2,8OO LBS IN MT 00 V6 TACO(NOT FASTER THAN 40MPH) NUMEROUSE TIMES. I WENT TO A FIRESTONE DEALER WHO SELLS AND INSTALLS "SUSPENSION CUSIONS". THEY MOUNT TO YOUR AXELS RIGHT BENEATH THE FRAME. THE TRUCK RIDES ON STOCK SUSPENSION SO NO RIDE COMFORT IS COMPROMISED. WHEN A LOAD IS PUT IN, THE REAR WILL SET ON THESE RUBBER CUSIONS PUTTING THE WEIGHT OF YOUR LOAD ON THE AXLE, NOT YOUR SUSPENSION. THEY ROB ARTICULATION WHEN OFF ROAD BUT THEY ARE BOLT ON AND CAN BE EASILY REMOVED/RE-INSTALLED AS NEEDED. THIS IS SIMILAR TO SEMI TRUCK LOAD CUSHIONS. I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THEM, BUT THE GUYS NAME IS HANS AND THE FIRESTONE DEALER PHONE # IS 630-986-8300. GET THE NAME OF THESE THINGS AND FIND YOUR CLOSEST FIRESTONE. THEY ARE RATED FOR 3,600 LBS AND WILL HOLD IT WITH EASE, BUT YOUR AXLE MAY BREAK FIRST.

Yeah, i would go with add a leave. Had some on my 92 pickup, they held up great, it held dirt loads of close to 2 tons(4000 lbs), and saged, but never did any damage.
