I have a few questions about the 05 Extended Cab Are there 2 or 3 seatbelts in the backseat. The Prerunner is only 2wd correct? What is the biggest tire I can put on one w/ out a lift? Is the 05 V6 a good daily driver/commuter? Thanks in advance. I am seriously looking at getting a 05 Tacoma V6, but have had no experience with Toyota since I got rid of my 88 pickup about 7 years ago.

1. Depends on what tacoma you get they come w/both 2 and 3 seat belt set-ups 2. yes the pre-runner is a 2wd 3. you can go one size larger on tires w/o lift 4. I would have to say absolutely my only advise is to get the 4x4 w/TRD package you wont regret it

So you can get the extended cab with 3 seatbelts in the back? That would be great.

WHIPPEDPOOH- I ALSO 4-5 WEEKS AGO GOT V6 DOUBLE CAB AUTO LONG BED. I LIVE IN CHICAGOLAND AND GET WORSE GAS MILAGE THAN MY 00 TACO WHICH HAD TRD BLOWER, HEADERS, EXHAUST. I HAVE A LITTLE OVER 700 MILES ON IT AND BELIEVE IN ENGINE BREAK IN PERIODS. I HAVE NOT EXCEEDED 3,OOO RPM'S OR 70 MPH. MY FIRST TWO TANKS OF GAS GOT ME APROX. 370 MILES. THE DEALERS ARE SAYING ITS THE WEATHER AND THAT EVERYONE IS COMPLAINING. THE PRIOUS IS SUPPOSED TO GET 66 MILES TO THE GALLON AND DEALERS ARE SAYING PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING THEY ARE ONLY GETTING 40
