Hi everyone,
My 99 TRD, is exhibiting a clunking sound in the front left. Happens during stop/start situations and also happened today while backing out of my driveway and turning left (in reverse). The dealers last inspection did mention that the left inner tie rod was showing a slight bit of play but not a real problem right now. I've been in the mountains all winter and only now has this problem developed.
Do I need to replace tie rod? Shocks? Alignment? Brake issue?
Maintenance has recently included, greasing driveshaft, rotating tires and oil/filter change.
In case it matters, I also have minor seeping at the hi-side power steering hose and differential vent tube has some seeping also.
Thanks for all suggestions!!

Could be a ball joint. Might want to check it out. And if you haven't already, check your cv shafts. I would check those two items first for obvious wear and play (torn boots, excessive joint movement).
