Im looking into doing a "True Dual" exhaust system on my tacoma. whats on my mind is headers going to 2 1/4'' steel to an o/r H pipe to (2)Dynomax flow throughs exiting out 2 1/2'' pipes. There are a couple problems I am facing. I plan on deleting the cats but then I have o2 sensor issues. My 1st question is.....Is there an o2 sensor delete chip, if not can one be custom burned for my application? My second question is about the headers. I've been doing some looking but havent come back with a whole lot of reuslts, What have you guys heard about what and where can I find it? Any help is appreciated as my frustration is mounting.
Thanks. -Alex

Why would you want to remove the cats, you have something against clean air ? not to mention it's a violation of state and federal laws.
Put the dual exhaust on and run dual cats.

The toyota cats are very restrictice and i dont want the restricion not to mention the noise restricion. To add to that I havent seen much in the way of an off road cat for tacomas. Tru duals on the 3.4L will end up being very quiet without the cats it will still be quiet just not as quiet. Plants and trees have to eat too.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but you will need those cats to give you the needed backpressure. Splitting the headers into 2 pipes will increase the flow and loose backpressure. Seems to me that the cats would be necessary. And there are high-flow cats available. Removing them altogether is just irresponsible.

Just thought i'd point out carbon MONoxide and carbon DEoxide are not the same thing.....plants and tree's absorb what we breath out....not what our cars spit in their face.

First off, the Toyota cats are not restrictive. They come stock with a high-flow type cat. Just leave them on, and do everyone a favor, especially those who will have to breath the air your truck puts out.
Secondly, if you go with true duals, won't you face computer problems...i.e. your truck trying to get the air/fuel ratio correct. If I am not mistaken you would have to mod the computer to read both sides, because it is used to reading only one side.
And last, I don't think you will be able to find headers that will easily work, since we have the infamous cross-over pipe.
