Well I am in the process of purchasing a 2005 Tacoma extended cab with all the optioins. This is my first new car and I want to take good care of it. - Well can anyone recomend what is the best way to breake in the engine. - What is the best gas to use for this engine. (I owned two bmw before and all required premium gas only.) - What type of oil is best for this engine syntethic or regular and what brand.

Follow the manufacturer's recommendations and you can't go wrong. Anything breaks, you have your warranty to fall back on as long as you follow their recommendations.

you recomend using regular oil untill the braking period is over and then go to synthetic. ;D

yeah. synthetic oil is too slick to let the motor break in.

Yeah, the V6 manual specifically says not to use Synthetic oil for the first 5k miles.
