Winch On A Tacoma?

I was wondering if anyone uses a winch on their tacoma? I know that the tacoma is limited to its ability with IFS, but Does anyone really ever get into trouble where they can justify buying a winch?

If anyone can post some pics of tacomas with winches on them that would help too.

I'm not an expert in off roading as a sport, but I've been in the timberland business for a good while. We cover from flooded muddy terrain to mountainous terrain in very remote places, sometimes several miles from anything. Most of the time I'm either by myself or carrying clients. In either case, I want every possible opportunity available to make sure I return home that night. In the land and timber business, several people I know use winches or tote 4 wheelers on trailers everywhere they go. In my 1998 Tacoma, I can go pretty much everywhere nessecary. I just ordered a 2005 Tacoma Off Road TRD Crew Cab and it arrives the 1st week of June. It will go from the dealership to an off-road 4x4 custom shop where I'm having a Warn winch system installed as well as some other modifications. So I guess in my case it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. If you don't find yourself in those situations you may be fine without a winch.

I have an 04 Tacoma with a winch on it. Sorry no picture yet. I have a Warn 9000lbs. mounted in an ARB bullbar and it has saved my ass a few times now. Most people don't abuse the hell out of a new truck, even one with IFS but hey I am not like most people. But hey, if your not going to use it then you should of bought a Jeep. I will try to get some pictures of my truck on the forum, it looks pretty cool.
