Forgive me if this has already been asked, I browsed a bit and didn't see anything. A few months ago I bought a used 96 Taco. (I am in love with this truck!) V6, X-cab, with some extra stuff. What I want to know is the best way to figure out what all the extra stuff is. It's got aftermarket wheels, with Wild Country's on 'em, suspension lift, a body lift, and a couple smaller things (skid plate, hitch, guard rails, etc). At least those are the things I'm aware of. Well, I'm looking to get new wheels/tires, and do general maintence on what's already on there. So do you guys/gals have any tips for what to look for? I'd rather not pay someone just to tell me what's all on the truck. fyi I have little to no car knowledge - this is the first vehicle I've ever owned.

;D :-*on your first rig! Mine was a '72 Cutlass. On your rig, I'd suggest getting a service manual...or 3. I have Chiltons, Haynes & the FSM. That'll get the basics covered. About the only way to find out what your rig has on it is to find an offroad shop & see if they know. Good Luck! Later...
