can any one tell me actual improvement from installing headers, and which brand is a good choice? thanks for the info. i have a 04 taco 3.4 supercharged w/trd exhaust. also , i know what karma means but how do you get it off 0?

The improvement is great. The header will allow the engine to breathe better it allows the air to flow alot better less restriction which in turn makes the engine run faster. with a upgraded intake, header, high flow cat, and a cat back exhaust. you'll sqeeze most of the HP the engine is capable of without engine upgrades like cams pistons lifters ect ect. As far as what brand to use. I myself recomend LC Engineering or Doug Thorely other than that the only other upgrade that I rec. is to get rid of the clutch driven fan for an electric fan the MPG gain is worth it alone but you'll also gain throttle response and a few extra horses as well

If you have the TRD exaust, why not just make the headers the TRD headers?....makes sense to me, i've always believed companies design their products best to work with each other....
