Anyone know if I can exchange out my steering wheel for one with the radio etc. controls that are built into the steering wheel?
ps: sure wish they would have included a nite light with the key insertion point - nothing like stabbing in the dark 10 times everytime it's dark.

It will work if you are able to do all of the wiring yourself.And are able to fit all the wires up through the colum without interfering with the steering and air bag components. Otherwise no. You might wanna try some other web sites that have more of the mall cruiser crowd(I'm not trying to be an a$$)but they love lights bells and whistles and other electronic stuff. But you can check with the folks at Custom Tacos those guys are really into electronic aplications and really know they're stuff. I don't like promoting other sites but I would like you to be able to get the info your looking for  good luck.  BTW If it's from the same year truck you can do it buy buying the wire harness(complete) from said year vehicle. let's say you have a '05 reg cab and they have it for the '06. As long as you have the exact same set up body style engine,trans and interior package ect. it would be a plug and play |
