does anyone know the best place that has the lowest prices for steering rack for my 98 ....besides autozone or does anyone know of a salvage yard or have a parted out truck with one on it i need one despreatly

thanks hoodlum i checked them out and it isnt much diffrent from autozones price do you know if they also lifetime warranty the steering rack like autozone or do you know of anyone parting out a truck that i could pull the steering rack and p/s pump off of?

You can call TrailGear and they can tell you I only knew that they had them cause I saw them while looking into other parts. Hell I wish I'd know earlier cause I just recently replaced mine with a factory one. As far as a partout deal you'll have to post up in wanted sections of various boards until you get a hit. You can also check a boneyard though I doubt you'll find one there but some salvage yards are like parts places they can order one from another boneyard that does have it.

yeah one of my buddies that has his own shop has it right now and when i find a the part im just gonna use his lifts to put it on and he is using one that is nation wide and no one can find one i found one off of a 97 2.7 taco is there a diffrence in the 2.7 and 2.4 steering because now im not sure which one i have
