Does anyone know if I can put a lift kit on my 2x4 tacoma? It's a 2001 with a 4 cyl. engine. Any info would be helpful.

Yes you can.

just to name a few. There are plenty of pre-runners with lift kits running around.

Now mine is not a pre runner. Does that matter?

Now mine is not a pre runner. Does that matter? It's still a pre-runner(4x2) the only difference is that the TRD version has the e-locker in the rear. You should have the stock 4x4 suspension set-up. |

Thanks for the input hoodlum. Also I was wandering if I will need something to correct the speedometer because larger tires will surely effect it? And anyother thing I might need other than the suspention lift?
