I'm sure this question has been beat'n to death but I'm going with it any way. I have a 96 tacoma w/ 5 speed manual 4wd. I want to put in a bigger motor and I was thinking something like a 305. I was wondering what major changes are going to be made to make this happen. Or if it can even happen I don't know? Can any one help?

Both the 2.7 and the 3.4 have some balls, Just throw some bolt ons and other engine components and you will have morre power, but if you want even more go for the V8. I like the 302 it is a good motor, but I like small block chevy's little more. I would check advance adpaters for bellhousings...
