so im new to all this. i have a 99 4runner with 4wd sr5. im gonna be in washington soon and wanna be able to run with wattora. what is the most basic setup/accessories i need? thanks for your help everyone  |

I have a 97 runner, but its still stock... I wheel my 85, however this is what i was looking at doing....
Sliders
Budbuilt Front skid (belly skid as well possibly)
Front and rear bumpers(front winch maybe, are always nice although im yet to own one myself)
Rear locker(if it doesnt have an Elocker already)
and some sort of 2-3inch lift. Maybe a 2inch suspension then a small body lift if you want more. Keep the suspension lift as small as you can to save CV boots.
And i would run some 32-33inch tires, i forget the metric equivilent sizes.
Personaly i would do the sliders and front skid first, then locker, bumpers, and lift last. I have dented and trashed too many body parts on my 85 becasue of no body protection.
