Any first hand recomendations for intake kits for 99 4 runner. Looking for price vs performance input. Truck will be used for offroad in the future. (no cold air)

Go with doing the deckplate mod to begin. Then also consider replacing your elbow with an ISR modification. Way better bang for your buck/ The true flow kit is pretty good as it has their foam type filter and a replacement elbow. Or get just the trueflow filter and the airaid mit elbow.
