There are a lot of reasons but more information would help. Are you getting CEL (check engine light)? What recent mods have you done? How many miles are on it? How does it drive? Any unusual problems that might lead you to the culprit? Is it sputtering or running slower than normal. Does it feel like it is missing every now and then (cylinder fire - not your truck is missing and call the cops) - Does the exhaust smell like gas? Some items to check: - Spark plugs - Air filter - Codes if any - oxygen sensors - throttle body gooped up? - catalytic converter

It has about 114000 miles, runs perfect. Air filter is fine, and no check engine light on. Theres nothing wrong with the truck except for the gas mileage, about 140 miles to the tank. More on the highway, but not where it's supposed to be.

Try replacing the fuel filter. Also check that your rear brakes, and e-brake are adjusted properly. Sometimes these can be just a little bit out of spec, and cause some serious mileage issues.
Hope this helps!
