Is this possible to swap a 4cylinder engine to a V6 engine with little or minor work? If that is possible how about swapping it with a new V8 motor?
I know supra motors are common swaps but are there any other motors to swap?

I would consider an engine swap not minor work. It is definately possible to swap in a variety of motors into a truck. It all depends on your ability and the amount of money you want to spend. Anything is possible with the right amount of resources. Swaping from a 4cyl to a v6 isn't something that is minor. unless you do this all the time then Im not telling you anything new. When you swap engines you also have to think about adapting the engine to your tranny and harness and other components. It can be done.

I was going to do this in my 95. I picked up a 3.4 with 12K for 1300...that was the cheap part. The ORS kit is around 2K, the x-case.....so you stick with pass side diff on a driver side tranny, was 1700 from marlin crawler, sub 400 if you dont want 4:1..Trannys, for an auto, are about 500-1000 in a junk yard.... ORS says it takes about 40 hours to complete with the correct tools....then you also have to do a 1" body or a hood scoop.... Easy, NO I ended up selling the rig and the motor and went to a reg cab pickup with a 4cyl, and the weight loss is like driving a v6

I know supra motors are common swaps but are there any other motors to swap? Chevy 4.3L Buick 3.8L (231) Ford 302 Chevy 350 and of course you need a tranny and t-case to go with it, adapters, bigger radiator, beefed up suspension, etc
