:(I have looked all over the internet for a drawing of the 1996 SR5 4wd suspension system. With no luck on finding such a drawing or diagram, I come to you for guidiance and direction. Also, an owners manual would be nice to find too. I found 1 at ebay, but the guy only takes "postal checks"!

I haven't been able to find one on the net either but I can tell you that you have a coil sprung rear suspension. You might just go to a parts shop like Advanced, O'reilly's, or Autozone and grab a cheap Haynes manual or similar. Sometimes they are vague but in general they are helpful to have around. It is what I used to first work on my truck.

Seriously, what would you need a drawing of the rear suspension for?
It is a basic 4 link design used from 90 on in the 4runners. Two lower links, two extremely short uppers and one panhard bar.

Oh...i forgot to mention that part. See, I'm pretty much ignorant of how suspension systems work and which aut manufacturers incorporate each design into their vehicles. When you guys mention certain things, I would like to be able to reference what my vehicle DOES have and see what the heck you are trying to say. Well.....TRY to see, anyway. Thanks for askin'
