Well, this weekend there is the annual Ice Breakers event held by Big Dogs, near Winchester, VA.
Trails from stock to competition.
I'll be there.

I would recommend Green Ridge if your just starting out. It's a state park right off of Rt.68 east of Cumberland. They have an 18 mile loop up one side of the mountain and down the other. You won't kill your truck, it's completely legal, don't need a permit, and a good start. Please remember the "Tread Lightly" creed and go after it rains and it's not so dusty.

I would recommend Green Ridge if your just starting out. It's a state park right off of Rt.68 east of Cumberland. That's in Western MD, in case you never heard of it. And on that note, there's also GW Nat Forest in Harrisonburg, VA. Plenty of trails for a stock vehicle.

Everythin in northern va is either built up or ppl have shut down...Even my best friends farm, they wont let us go back in there anymore! Its almost impossible to go anywhere anymore. The GW Forest is alright, depending on where you go. When my pickup was basically stock last year i went up there in Edinburg gap, to the left of that 14 mile gravel road. It can get a lil tricky up there. If you have worn ball joints and wheel bearings i suggest that you stay out, because its just going to tear it all the SH*T be the time you are done. It can be fun, if you take your time and not rush youd be alright! You can camp and stuff up there too. I think its like an 8 mile long trail taht runs all throughout the top of the Mass-o-nothing ridge right there to the Woodstock towers. I live down in haymarket, not too far from you in leesburg, maybe sometime we can get together when i get back from college next week and go out to the GW or something! Just IM me on aim and let me know when you want to go!
