I just signed up and I'm starting this thread to see if there is anyone around the area that knows of some good places to go 4-wheeling. I just got a 94 Yota a couple months ago and haven't got to try it out yet. It's got a 3" body with 33's under it. Anyone in the area know of any hit me up with the info.

Not many places to go around here that is legal. Im not sure if they ever reopened Slades Park in Surry, but that is the only place that I know that is around here. My friends and I go to George Washington National Forest to go wheel or go to the OBX. Both places take about 2 hours to get there. On the OBX in Corolla there are some trails that have some pretty nasty holes. Ive only been there twice and on the second time I was politely asked by a sheriff to not be back there. I should also add that it was the height of the tourist season and they get anal about people going wheelin.

Thanks for hitting me up with the info....I didn't think there was many if any places around here that are legal. Seems like everyone I ask says no where legal that they know about.

Not to steal your post, but hopefully in the end of Jan or early Feb I will be getting the All Pro Off Road 3" coil over front and 2" rear spring lift for my 05 4x4, going to be doing a write up and picture session of the install. i thought it would be cool to get fellow Tacoma or Toyota owners to help with the install. This way I can get opions of how the install, directions and quality compare to other lifts. Well cool to see more locals. L8R Nick

im pretty new here, but i do have some property down in chowan county NC.....lots and lots of woodland, and farmland (wintertime = no crops), when i get my tranny runnin a little better, im plannin on goin down there and scopin it out, havent been in there in a few years, been a few hurricanes, so im not sure what the property looks like, but im sure there is some nice spots back there, might take a few of us to get goin, get down there and clear some stuff out of the way, but should be some decent trail ridin....
