Well, it looks like this summer/fall im gonna be moving out to colorado. Somewhere in the colorado springs area. Who knows yet..
By the time i move out there i will be done with my SAS with a D60 front and 14 bolt rear. Im kinda nervous moving to a new area since i have lived in a small town all of my life. I hope i will find some cool people that are into the same things i am, hunting, fishing, wheeling, and so on.
My main question is, are there many close semi difficult trails in and around the colorado springs area. Anywhere from Dever to pueblo to even over the mountain in the cripple creek area would be awsome! Just tryin to get a heads up and talk with some ppl before i make the move out there!
I appreciate it! Chris

Moving with the family or work related? Not too many rent's will carry the 21yr old boy around with them. ;D
All I can say is, if you can do it in any way possible..... take your time heading west. Save every cent you have and stop in all the little towns on the way and enjoy/experience the great USA!!! Not many people ever get that chance in a lifetime. I've been to England(Born there) and up and down the east coast 1000 times....Never west of Ohio..... Hell, leave now..... Even if you can take 2 weeks for the trip, you'll see and experience 1million times more thn anyone in a plane.
Good luck. Hell, it's not like you're leaving here!(site)

Yea i have been out once before at the Olympic Traincenter for a shooting competition a few years back. It was def an experience being able to drive out there and see a lot. I hate flying..i havebeen on a plane once and never will go on it again. Didnt like the 4 hr nose bleed!
I am in the middle of buying 10 acres (myself) right now as an investment property in hopes of building my own custom home within 10 years.
Prolly the biggest reason for me movin out there is cause of my mom. She is in a bad time of her life and really needs someone to help her get by with things. I doubt i will live at home out there but at least i will be close by to take care of everything and give her a helping hand.
In and around the DC metro area has gotten to me! My little town isnt so little anymore. In the past 6 years population went from 700 ppl to 12,000 ppl! I hate it. What were thousand acre farms that we wheeled on are now golf courses and big money grip houses! One other reason for us making the move out there is due to my sister as well. She has to spend a lot of time out there and the constant trips going to and from the olympic center is rather costly. But i am pretty pround of the lil twerp...hes gotten accepted on the junior olympic trap team and is workin on full sponsership with beretta.

Can't argue that. Just be prepared for a REDICULOUS cost of living.
Nice place to visit I here, but wouldn't wanna live there. My best friend of years spend 3yrs living in the deep DEEP mountains at Mission wolf. They did a project with the DEC and National Geographic on the repopulation of wolves in their natural habitat. 5 months of the year they were locked in. Ham radio. That's it. Unless they had a major thaw/freeze that would allow travel OVER the 12-18ft snow base. Damn hippies....

Hey Bud, I am game for riding out in the good ol' mountains of CO, espeically now that I just got my truck lifted. Anyways, there are tons of nice trails out here... from the scenic ones to the skill required ones. Wish you the best on your way out here.
