What is the deal with the LTB model, is there something wrong with them or what. They are a good bit cheaper than some of the other models for the same (or larger) size tire. Anybody know something I don't??

I am not sure about the LTB's, never owned any. I have 33 TSL's and they are well werth the money. I don't think that the LTB's are as aggressive as the TSL's. If that helps out.

ok the ltb are more agressive then the radial's they are both tsl's, third stage lug, what it stands for. the ltb are bis ply tire lettin them be more tuff and the lugs larger on the outside. they do get flat spots but go away and humm. i drive 50 miles each day. kinda wears them down but like u said they are cheap and worth it. i run the 34 10.5 15's great tires. clean good traction all that.

I called INTERCO & talked to them the reason they are so cheap is they are made in Mexico I run A set of 33 - 13.50 ltb they are great the LTB stands for longer third bar hope this helps

The LTB swamper is very similar to the tsl in fact the only noticible difference just by looking at them is that the center tread pattern is slightly different. My LTB's actually have TSL stamped on the side. I think that the LTB's are made out of a differnt tread compound than the tsl's. Anyway if you do get the LTB get the 33x13.50. It is only like a 1/2" shorter than the 34x10.50 and a lot wider. Great tires though.

What tread would the "third bar" be? Any pics of that 33x13.5 on anyone's rigs? This tire seems to be just what I'm looking for. Also, Ive heard bias tires overheating and melting on the highway after even under an hour of driving. Say it ain't so!

I think the third bar is the longest lug on the outside of the tread. The over heating is somewhat true. anytire will overheat if there is not enough air pressure. Bias ply tires are not speed rated and are not intended to be driven at excessive speeds, even at the correct pressure they do generate a lot of heat. I speak from experience, I had a thornbird that the tread starting peeling off on the interstate, probably because I was driving 80-90mph. I have never heard of tires melting though.

a few people i know run them on b2's they arenice and cheap, but i think they are made out of the same compound as a bogger, some soft stuff

so, are these tire gonna mess up on the highway or not? i drive 3 hours to the closests orv park at 65mph

What pressure anyone running with these when on the road (if u use them on the road) I just picked up a used set(33x13.5 15) for when I go wheeling, and drive my truck wherever I go so need to know what to air them up to. I am currently running 22psi. WHat everyone else run in their Bias tires?

hey sean, your posted link for the ltb's??? if you click on the tire "for larger image" and scoll the photo down a little you will the the letters on the tire(upside down) TSL

what type of highway mileage should i see out of ltb's??? they have a cool aggressive look!

they'll decrease your gas mileage unless you are currently running something like a set of super swamper boggers. they'll vibrate more and be lowder cost more wear out faster but.... they do better offroad. you should definately get a set but don't expect good mpg's
