I'm trying to decide what tires I should run for the winter. I was just going to pick up some used 31x10.5s but I've been told that they caused someone with a similar rig to flip when they hit some slush.... any thoughts? I've been driving it for the past few years with 235/75 15s, but I'd like to go to something a bit taller (no lifting for the moment)
Thanks

I bought my truck with 31's and live in Canada where I see snow for half the year. Never had a problem, but you will notice a huge traction difference between a new set and a worn set, especially on wet or icy surfaces.

Where're you located? I'm in Moncton NB (thus the NB in the alias)

hey man, i would definetly go with a 31x10.50 AT. They will be 2 inches taller plus fit on your stock rims. you can also run them without a lift, no problem. An all-terrain like a BFGoodrich is great in the snow!
