I have a toyota with 7 in lift and am going to put 35-14:50 tires on it . I was wondering which of these tires (SSR, Thornbirds) got more miles on the Road.

DOnt get thornbirds! Well atleast i wouldnt cause ive heard that they suck in traction on all types of terrian. I would go with the SSRs.

I agree, dont go with the Thornbirds, besides looks they got nothin. Horrible on-road, and pack mud offroad. SSR's are a great tire, safer too.

thornbirds are bias ply and arent good on the road, ok in ruts because of the side lug, you will more than likely throw a lug in the summer, the ssr is a good tire the last set i had was on a ext cab ford and they were 35sand i got 60k out of them , im in the process of putting some baby ssrs on my new yota just a 265 . my vote goes to the SSR.

I had a good friend who had some thornbirds and hated them. The side lugs are good and they do look cool on the road. But he said they are heavy as sin and dont do well offroad. He 33's and I think they were heavier than my 36" TSL's. I would vote for SSR's...

please don't get the birds, they look cool but they suck real bad, off road and driving in the rain, go for the SSR's they will be a better ride and do way better off and on road. ;D
