ok im either getting 36x12.50x15's or 38x12.x15's on my 4runner, my friend had some 36" SX's and he loved them and so did i and they wore very well on the road, my 4runner will drive to the mudholes and yknow occasions when i feel like it, but in no way a daily driver, however the TSL's are about $30 a tire cheaper, which is $120 total, which is a lot ot me and was wondering what is the biggest difference, i know the SX's have more side lug and tread which helps some, but is that the only difference? is it worth the extra money? which would get more life? Which performs better?

I would go with SX's. I imagine that tread life will be the same. You would be suprised what a difference sidewall lugs make. 120 may seem like a lot, but compared to the overall investment it's not that much to be happier in the long run. I guarentee if you get the sx's you will never question if you should have gotten the TSLs instead but if you get the TSL's you will always wonder if the sx's were the better choice.

;D Depends on what YOU want!? The SX is a much beefier tire but not as "road friendly". Do you want radial or not? The SX is also much more resistant to punctures. Go here & check them out. Later... www.intercotire.com/
