Does anyone ride on Pro Comp Xterrain tires? Are these tires all-terrains or are they mud-terrains?

ummm id say more like an all terrrain, or a maximum traction rock tire, in the mud the tread fills up quick and doesnt clean as well as youd think by the design, the tread compound is rather soft, if your getting a tire for mud, the similar baja claw is a great tire, or there are plenty of Mud terrain type tires out there!

i would steer clear of the x terrains. my neighbor wheels with me and has a yota too, and he put a set of 33 x terrains on his and they didn't last nearly as long as they should have. they look really cool, so i feel your pain, but i would bite the bullet and look at bfg's, wrangler mtr's, or mickey's baja claw radials. all are great tires.

do not guy them, they are real bad in the mud and snow, if your gonna do reocks i guess they are ok, a friend of mind had them, they are quiet on the road, but suck in mud and snow.

i have them and i think they are excellent in the snow, it has snow almost everyday here on the west side of michigan here except the past week. i notice in 2wd in snowy parking lot i really have a hard time doing donuts, they grab to well. it the mud the had worked well but i always attack it fast, haven't had time to try mud with the locker yet though

OK, I have the 35's, which is an upgrade from the 33's. They grip great in the rocks, I air down to 12 p.s.i and rarely get slippage from them. I also have a crawler which helps slow things down. Also, as for noise, when I had an exhaust leak (from the Downey headers) it was louder than the tires. Now the exhaust leak is gone and I'd say the tires are almost as loud as my flex-a lite fan...I've had BFG's AT's and would recommend the Xterrains over them. Hope that helps.
