backspacing

wondering how much backspacing i need with 35x1450x16.5 thorns.

i dont really know what im talking about tho so that may not make sense (?? lol)

im planning on getting american racing rims (the black ones). can u pick ur backspacing when u order or what?

someone explain how u go through the process of buying new rims

i know that for the super lift suspension kit you need 3.75 so they stick out a little more. i have the ar767 black rim, the link talks a little about backspacing www.off-road.com/toyota/reviews/superlift/index.htm

3.75" backspacing is the "normal" amount on aftermarket wheels.

You may want to go with less (2" is fairly common) so the inside of the tires doesn't rub against your frame and suspension. Or use spacers.

so would 2 inch backspacing be enough space for 14.50's. i measured them and they are around 16 inches wide
