Anyone know if they share the same rim setup, 6 bolt 15" rims from a chev to a yota?
Can grab up a set of good 33"s for pretty cheap on chev rims and would like to just slap them onto my rig if possible. Just kinda curious before i make the purchase as i wouldnt mind having my tires now stay on rims and serve as a complete backup tire set.
Thanks jeff

Yes, and Isuzu, and a few others have same bolt pattern.
But, the center hole diameters can differ slightly.

Yes there are the same, but i think that the backspacing might be different.

The chevy rims will have a smaller center hole. ;D Yes they do! I learned this on a buddys boat trailer. Toy wheels will fit a Chevy but not the other way around. Later...

What if ur were to like grind the circle open, to the diameter of toyotas Well since 2 of us said the bolt pattern is the same and they'd fit EXCEPT for the center hole, what do you like think?

Yes and no..... They are right the bolt patterns match but the center holles are different.. The chevy rims in the center are smaller than the toyota rims and you have to have someone hone the inside of the wheel to it's diameter... {DO NOT}... do anything but hone them or you will fuck up the inside of the rim. I had a set on the yoder of mine and they were off a 98 chevy and we drill them with my dads drill press and when we put them on, they fit good but when you drove it down the road the got hot and seized up the inside of the rim. It swelled on the vehicle and we had to use a cutting torch to cut all 4 of them off.... Honing them makes a slick surface on the inside of the rim so they doesn't do that!!! I had that expirence and it sucked....

I'm running the wheels off of a Chevy on my 4Runner right now with no problems. They are after market wheels, maybe they have a bigger center hole?

generally stock chevy rims will not fit because of the slightly smaller center hole but aftermarket chevy rims will fit no problem.

actually, 86 and previous rims from a chevy(any one with a solid axle) will fit a toyota, and yes the backspacing is different, the chevy rims have more.
