So your looking for a tire that looks good but will last a few years? A few years of what? pure pavement? dirt? a mixture of the two? Since your worried about wear I take it you want a good highway tire that looks cool. Now that I think about it, I can't realy think of any besides Interco's thornbirds. But I've heard that those suck a$$ at everything. Yet I've heard people say that they last a long time and others say they wear out FAST. sorry, I know that doesn't help. I just relised I may be wasting your time. I'll let someone else try and help you. sorry

BF Goodrich M/T KA's are great tires. Look good, perform good off road, are quiet on the highway, and wear well. The only draw back for serious off road is the sidewalls are too thin.
Good luck!

My truck is a DD with a 3.4 v6. I drive it pretty hard - fast that is... and I am at about 50k on my General Grabber A/Ts. They have a good looking tread pattern and have seemed to hold up pretty well. When new, they were great in the snow/rain. Over time, that got a little worse... but all in all, good tires. Cost me about $100 each.

;D If you get 25,000 on a set of m/t's, consider yourself lucky. There are 2 people I know, Truxus & SSR radials, that have gotten more. Alot more. 40,000+ To me, they're both bald. BUT, they still work! Later...

Definitely a good tire so far. Just bought some about mouth ago. Sidewalls are most definitely TOO thin. My tires were two days old when I blew out the sidewall on one of then while rock crawling.

BFG's A/T are pretty good choices IMO, they do alright for occasional off road use but suck when your doing some serious stuff. when it comes to highway use there great looking tires that will give you about 30-50 depending on how you drive. But then again if you plan on climbing rocks once a week these arent for you.
