Im looking at the TSL SX, SSR Radial, and the TSL.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of a 35X15.50, 36X14.50 ish.. 15X12 rim.
I drive ALOT, love look of the wide Swampers, and do alot of mudding, but the main issue is I want something that wont beat me to death on the highway.

i would think that anything kind of radial tire would ride quieter and smoother than a bias ply. i've never had any of those swampers, though, so i can't speak from experience. i love my LTBs, awesome in the mud, but they're not exactly a great highway tire... kinda noisy and bumpy, but i still love em!

I've had the SSR'S and loved them and will be getting another set soon all for the same reasons you are asking about

My truck has 36x14.50x15 SS TSL RADIALS, they don't ride too bad. They seem to me to ride better and quieter on the interstate @ 65 or 70, than around town. I like them will buy again. I'm thinking of buying a new set of irok radials, still doing the research on them though.
GoodLuck!!

Being in a warm climate, any of the steel or nylon belted swampers should be fine for you. In colder climates the tires become extremely stiff and get flat spots overnight until warmed up. They'll shake the hell out of ya. As with any wide tire, on a light truck, the tires will want to "track" on the highway(ie: pull the road seams on the asphalt) but, if you've driven with them before, you know this already. SSR's are great, but you loose some tread depth and lug separation.

I doesn't take colder climates to get flat spots. I'm in TN and i get flat spots on my TSL radials. I would recommend SSR's. They were made more for what your needing. I like my radials but they bounce quite a bit and they are even balanced. Every time I go offroad I change the balancing by tearing off some rubber on the rocks. So it really doesn't matter any more.

Boggers. lol a good riding swamper isnt really out there. the iroks are better then most i rode in a jeep with SSRs and they were worse then the SX's he had on before. all depends on what day the tire was made on lol
