hi guys my toy already has a 3 in body w/ 31s i was wondering if i got a 4 inch suspension would 33 inch tires fill those gaps well...what i mean would it still look good, and what width rims would i need...15x8 or 15x10s i know i'd probly have to regear to 4.88s
lastly what gears do i have in my auto...same as manual..4.10s? my drive line info; 22re w/ auto tranny
thanks in advance mike

33s should fill the gap now. with 7 inches of lift u should beable to fit 37s

i know that...i just wanted to know how 33s would look with 7 inches
would it look good or would it look stupid because the bigger gap makes the 33s look small... like i said would it fill in well...
thanks again

it looks funny. its way too much lift for 33 the 33s look good with 3 inches of lift u are goin to need 35s at least to make the 7 inches of lift look ok. again if u wanted to u could fit 35s with the 3 inch body lift

a guy at my work has a 2nd gen 4runner with i think the 4"/3" lift combo and 33" x-terrains. it looks ok, but the tires do look pretty small... i'll see if i can get a picture for you. my buddy is running a 2" body lift with 33" pro comp mud terrains, and it looks great. we still need to 'fix' the fenders with a bfh, but once we get them clearanced a little bit, it'll be perfect. 33's, black rockcrawlers, 2" b/l, and a bobbed bed... the halfdoors aren't on in that picture... the tires rubbed like mad in the front when turning or going over really big speedbumps or something, but the tires have clearanced the fenders a little bit by themselves, so it's street-drivable.

forget the 4in. suspension lift unless you're gunna throw some 35's under it cause it just won't look right with 33's. as for your gears i think the auto's are usually geared one step lower so you might have like 4.30's but the only way to really know is to count the teeth on your r&p.

Speaking of Bobbed beds, I spent all day working on my truck and decided at 3:00 to go ahead and do the bed swap I have been waiting to do. Lol , didn't think about the fact that I needed to cut off 4 or 5 inches off the end of the frame, all I have is a little hack saw. Yes that sucked. But I think this will be better then the 81' bed I had on there. It's got a tailgate!!! I am pumped can't ya tell

here's the imagestation album i uploaded them all to www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=2122304936we forgot to take pictures during the 'putting back together' process, but all the cutting stuff is there. (btw, the big mexican guy is my buddy, not me... ;D ;D) if you're not signed up with imagestation, i don't think it'll let you see the pictures. but it's worth it to sign up, and it's free. great place to store/host pictures from.
